Salute the Troops Football Game - WLC vs. WLN

Walled Lake Central High School

The Walled Lake Central and Walled Lake Northern Football teams will be “Saluting the Troops and Veterans,” who have served the United States Military (past and present), on Friday night, October 5th at Walled Lake Central Football Stadium.

Donate $100 (minimum) to sponsor your Veteran or Military Personnel in the game. They can be current, a father, a grandparent, a friend – any Military Veteran. Players for both teams will be wearing a special jersey with the sponsored Veteran or Military Personnel’s last name on the back – and playing in their honor. You will receive the jersey right after the game – and they are really cool looking!

If you don’t have a Veteran or Military Personnel in mind, but still want to sponsor a jersey, we will find one for you.

There will be a brief ceremony at the end of the game where the jersey will be awarded to the sponsor. Family and friends are welcome – so, please attend the game. It is a wonderful experience. A roster mentioning each Veteran or Military Personnel will be included in the program. All proceeds will go to Military Families United of Michigan (an IRS Charity) to benefit Michigan Military Families.
